The HP-12C (Voyager 1.0)

Introduced on the 1st September 1981, and still in production !!

Contains a lot of standard financial functions. Programmable and uses the RPN input mode. Although HP tries to replace this calculator, it is still in production. HP sold more than 15 million of this model calculator so far.

Over the years there were at least 6 major revisions. An extensive article about the HP voyager calculator variants can be found here.

The classic model

The classic model has a striking golden bezel.

The Platinum model

There are two face plate variants of the platinum version. Both have a silver bezel around the display.
The first variant has a silver face plate. The second variant has a black face plate.

The Platinum 25th Anniversary Edition

The HP-12C was introduced in 1981. In 2006 a special "25th Anniversary Edition" was build.

The Platinum 30th Anniversary Edition

In 2011 a special 30th Anniversary Edition was released. (Not yet part of my collection).

 

The Prestige model

This prestige model is a platinum model introduced in Brazil. It has a beautiful bronze color scheme.
